Appointments

All consultations with doctors, nurses and allied health are by appointment. Urgent consults can often be accommodated – please call reception if you need assistance.

Some consultations require a longer appointment. Please inform  reception staff if you have more than one issue to discuss or your health needs are more complex, so enough time can be allocated.

Telehealth/Phone consultations Patients must be physically in Australia at the time of consultation.

After Hours

When the practice is closed, you can call the locum service, National Home Doctor Service on 13 74 25, who offer a bulk billing home doctor service. A visit summary is sent to the clinic to incorporate in your patient history for continuity of care. In the case of an emergency, patients should dial 000.

Autonomy

All general practitioners and other healthcare professionals in the practice are free to make decisions that affect the management of their patients in accordance with accepted clinical judgement, best available evidence and adherence to valid clinical care guidelines.

My Health Record

The My Health Record (MHR) is a digital summary of a patient’s medical record that can be shard securely online between the patient and the healthcare providers that they visit. The practice is able to upload to your My Health record.

Privacy

This practice complies with federal and state privacy regulations including the Privacy Act 1988 and Privacy Amendment (Enhancing Privacy Protection) Act 2012 as well as complying with standards set out in the RACGP Handbook for the management of health information in general practice (3rd edition). They are only accessible by authorised staff.

Feedback and Complaints

We are always interested in receiving feedback regarding the service received. Your suggestions and input into how the clinic can improve the service is always welcome. Please feel free to discuss any concerns you have with your GP, the practice manager or reception. Your concerns, suggestions and complaints are taken seriously.
